The sudden death of Henrob Hospital Doctor Spire Kiggundu has sparked intense investigation, with police revealing new details about the circumstances surrounding his demise.

According to findings obtained by TV10 Gano Mazima, lodge staff reported that Dr. Kiggundu checked in alone through the back door, indicating he would only stay for a few hours. However, he left his room door unlocked, suggesting he was expecting someone.

When staff checked on him later, they found his door ajar, and he was asleep in his boxer shorts. Despite his initial claim of a short stay, Dr. Kiggundu remained at the lodge until police were notified and arrived at the scene.

Investigators discovered $1,370, 93,000 shillings, a phone tablet, two used HIV test kits, car keys, and half-consumed drinks, including an open Nivana water bottle and Minute Maid juice bottle, as well as Panadol Extra tablets.

The Mysterious Woman

CCTV footage revealed a woman entering the lodge through the back door while on her phone and leaving in a hurry, wearing a black kavera. Notably, Dr. Kiggundu’s phones went off around the same time the woman checked in.

Police are now tracking the last number in Dr. Kiggundu’s call logs to identify the woman and determine what transpired in the lodge room.

Investigation Update

Following Dr. Kiggundu’s burial, police detectives have questioned his relatives as part of their ongoing investigation. The search for the mysterious woman intensifies as authorities work to unravel the circumstances surrounding Dr. Kiggundu’s untimely death.
