While delivering the State of The Nation address, President Museveni has revealed that he has garnered enough evidence on all corrupt officials in government.
“I have been getting good information about corrupt actors among the public servants and also the political actors. With firm evidence, we shall crash these actors,” he said.
He added that, “I have heard that from the Ministry of Finance, they arrange with the accounting officers of ministries to come to Parliament to work with some people there to provide certain funds and take a share. I didn’t believe this but now I have proof.”
This comes after religious leaders on Martyrs day issued out corruption as one of Uganda’s biggest problems.
The President also highlighted that the reason why Africa has got a lot of problems is because we make a lot of mistakes in philosophy, ideology and strategy.
