Nakawa market vendors woke up to very sad news, after their market was set on a blaze this Monday morning.
The fire is said to have started at around 5:00am and the near by people tried to stop it but in vein. The fire brigade unit is said to have arrived at the scene a little bit late, which led to the escalation of the fire with in the other parts of the market.
Millions of shillings in terms of property and capital have been lost and vendors in this market are totally confused right now on what to do next since most of them, the market was their only source of income.
