Achai Wiir Bol a Suddanese- Canadian , once powerful prominent businesswoman cum musician and socialite linked to top Juba statehouse , has allegedly unsuccessfully put residents in Buziga, at ransom over a road upgrade construction project in the area.
According to our pry in the area, Achai Wiir , who happens to own a property along the stretch under upgrade , had initially frustrated efforts by her neighbours to enter into a consent to the development citing several issues like security and the financial implication of the same on her.
In a bid to bring her to school about the project and that it wouldn’t entirely affect her finances, efforts of the local council team where nearly thwarted as it was said that she on several occasions on phone had arrogantly refused to pay attension to their pleas through her handlers.
With summons by both the area LC and security circles, Achai Wiir, is said to have delegated two of her female relatives (names with held ) to represent her.
It is at this meeting that the two on being pinned over their boss’ whereabouts, let the cat out of the bag that she had prior been taken ill and had been admitted at Nsambya hospital, though was now recovering at home.
Blanketed at the shock of the ‘billionaire’ , Achai Wiir , being holed up at Nsambya, sent chills as many thought that she would at least be booked into a hospital in Nairobi or at worst in Nakasero.
With her situation in cue, the meeting later ended with her team and the others agreeing that the works go on until that time when if she may deem as not fit .
It should be noted that Achai Wiir, who also ‘owns’ plush residences in the Munyonyo area where her mother and other relatives live, is also a confidant of local singer Jose Chameleon.
Indeed , Achai. Wiir , who had been underground for some time officially re-surfaced on her social media handles , to wish Chameleon , who had also been admitted to hospital over pancreatis , a quick recovery.
Achaii Wiir, is said to be the same person that gifted the famous white Toyota V8 Landcruiser with Sudannese number plates, that was the genesis of the singers altercation with URA officials in April 2020, over its pending tax obligations .
It is said that at one time , Achar Wiir , was known for her successful business ventures and her active involvement in various sectors of the South Sudanese economy.
She had been a role model for many young entrepreneurs in the country until she fell from grace.
