President recalls 40-year friendship with Osborn family, hails their ministry in Uganda

President Yoweri Museveni and First Lady Janet Museveni on Tuesday hosted international evangelist Bishop Dr. LaDonna C. Osborn at State House Entebbe.Dr. Osborn is in Uganda for the upcoming consecration of Pastor Patience Rwabwogo as Bishop.
According to State House, the meeting focused on faith, service, and the long-standing relationship between the Osborn family and Uganda. A Legacy of Ministry Dating Back to 1985 During the meeting, Dr. Osborn recalled her first visit to Uganda in 1985 alongside her late mother, Dr. Daisy Osborn.
She noted that her mother ministered to many Ugandans during what she described as “a difficult period in our history.”Maama Janet also paid tribute to Dr. Daisy Osborn, remembering how she prayed with the First Family and gave their children their very first Bibles.
“We reflected on Uganda’s transformation over the years and the enduring friendship between the Osborn family and Uganda,” President Museveni said after the meeting.Blessings Ahead of Consecration
The President welcomed Dr. Osborn back to Uganda and extended his best wishes to Pastor Patience Rwabwogo ahead of her consecration as Bishop.Pastor Patience Rwabwogo, daughter of the President and First Lady, leads the Covenant Nations Church in Kampala.
Her consecration is expected to draw church leaders and dignitaries from across the country and abroad.Dr. LaDonna Osborn is a global evangelist and president of Osborn Ministries International, continuing the evangelistic work started by her parents, T.L. and Daisy Osborn.
