In accordance with his wishes, Shaka Ssali will be cremated on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Jefferson Funeral Chapel in Alexandria, Virginia.

His ashes will be split between Uganda and other African countries, symbolizing his love for his homeland and the continent he dedicated his career to.
