Conflicts in National unity platform ( NUP) the leading opposition political party of Uganda increase day by day.
The source told TV10 ganomazima that Bobi Wine Kyagulanyi Ssentamu the president of the party seen angry in a meeting with NUP members of parliament.
“Bobi was visibly angry when he met with NUP MPs recently due to developing issues of international conflicts within the party”.
Amongst the many conflicts within NUP party our source told us that many members interests conflict with Bibi Wine as president of the party.
A leaked issue of members to disagree with Kyagulanyi amongst several issues has been revealed and this include the recent visit of Mengo.
Bobi disagreed with members of parliament who visited and contribute funds to the luwalo lwafe initiative of Buganda Kingdom.
He says that the cooperation of NUP members with DP bloc’s recent visit of Mengo was unnecessary.
Kyagulanyi adds that his NUP party foot soldiers outraged the alliance of
Mpuuga and his allies under the DP block , especially on MPs whom they feel that betrayed them.
The issue of Mengo visit sparked outrage among NUP foot soldiers who feel betrayed by their MPs apparently allegiance to Mpuuga.
Bobi also says that due to that development, the incident has exposed a deeper rift within the party.
And that situation has left many wondering about the future of the party and the implications of the internal power struggle.
