Foreign Interference in Africa: A Pattern of Exploitation

Africa Must Breathe Again

Once again, we witness unsettling signs of foreign interference in Africa—this time in Burkina Faso. Historically, Western powers, including France and the United States, have exploited Africa’s mineral wealth, often leaving nations impoverished while a few puppet leaders thrived at the expense of their people.

A Pattern of Intervention

The West rarely moves against long-standing dictators who impoverish millions for decades. Instead, they show concern only when a leader, like Captain Ibrahim Traoré, stands up for true national sovereignty. Suddenly, urgent actions are planned—not to uplift the people, but to destabilize progress and regain control over Africa’s resources.

A Tragic Legacy

Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, Congo—these nations are still struggling to recover from foreign interventions masked as liberation. Meanwhile, conflicts persist where UN peacekeeping forces seem endless, yet stability remains elusive. If humanitarian concern were the true motive, one would expect similar urgency in protecting innocent lives in Ukraine or Palestine. Instead, strategic mineral interests consistently dictate action.

A Call to Action

Africa must not be deceived again. It is time for true patriots across the continent to unite and support leaders committed to genuine independence. Let us protect the new generation of African visionaries before they, too, are lost—like Sankara, Lumumba, Magufuli, Nkrumah, and others.

The Destiny of Africa

The destiny of Africa must be decided by Africans—not dictated by distant powers.
