We can exclusively reveal that a one Kasozi Moses, of Kawempe, has gone into hiding after securing bond on 7th June 2022, over allegations of homosexuality.
Kasozi, who was arrested on 5th June 2022, under SD 70/09/06/22, and charged with the offense of homosexuality, and caged at KirbRiad police station in Kampala, was later granted police bond on 7th June 2022 and ordered to appear before the station Officer in Charge on 14th June 2022.
It is however, alleged that Kasozi, thereafter disappeared and has not been seen in public .
In a bid to locate and bring him to justice, the security authorities instituted a coverted team of investigators to his family home village of Busula ,Masaale Parish, Katikamu sub county in Luwero district, in an effort to nab him.
However, as standard procedure , the security team on engaging the local authority (LC) for permission to carry out the operation , where taken aback when Mr. lutwama John the chairman , informed them that the said Kasozi , had prior been reported over the same vice by his own parents.
Mr..Lutwama , told them that Bukenya Joseph the father of the suspect in the presence of Matovu John his brother and Nabukenya Brenda a sister, had resolved to banish Kasozi from his family and compound following his links to homosexuality, which is an unforgivable abomination in their community.
He added that since then, none of his family members had a clue on where or what Kasozi was.
In a related development, the Chief Magistrates court of Kampala at LDC also issues a criminal offense no 20/09/06/2022 warrant of arrest, for Kasozi Moses , under section 11 120 cap of the penal code on 07th May 2024 , directing that he be arrested and produced before the same court.
Since then , efforts to bring Kasozi, to book have been futile. Unconfirmed reports indicate that he has since fled the country for his safety .
