Kampala Metropolitan Police has strengthened its operations with the addition of 10 new patrol vehicles provided by the Directorate of Logistics and Engineering.

The vehicles were officially received by Kampala Metropolitan Police Commander ACP Ezekiel Emitu, who welcomed the new fleet as a timely boost to policing efforts across the city.

According to ACP Emitu, the vehicles will improve the force’s ability to respond quickly to emergencies, increase patrols, and enhance police visibility in different parts of the Kampala metropolitan area. He said the additional transport will also help officers carry out their duties more efficiently while improving public safety.
The new vehicles are expected to support routine patrols and other security operations as the police continue working to maintain law and order across the city.
