GOVERNMENT IS ASKED TO INTERVENE IN FIK GAZA’S ARREST IN SAUID ARABIA

The Uganda Musicians Association [UMA] has asked the government to intervene in Shafic Dangote’s alias Fik Gaza’s arrest in Saudi Arabia.

The popular Ugandan artist was arrested on Tuesday in the Arabia country. The main reason of his arrest is attributed to irregularities and dress code violation.

UMA had asked the government of Uganda through the ministry of internal affairs  to intervene in the case.

According to UMA leaders Uganda is deeply concerned about Gaza well being and urged Saudi Arabia to swiftly resolve the issue.

They asked the embassy of the republic of Uganda and the permanent mission to the organization of Islamic cooperation in Riyadh to secure the case.

Further more they requested Uganda ambassador in Saudi Arabia Ssemuddu to personally intervene and advocate for Gaza rights.

Many Ugandan artists have been arrested in the U.A.E and earlier this year Benin Gunter was released from Dubani

Fik Gaza made it on the music scene in Uganda in 2018 but he made his break through last year after the release of his collaboration with Jose Chameleon  entitled Banana.
