Pope Francis has appointed, Rt. Rev. Raphael p’Mony Wokorach M.C.C.J, new Metropolitan Archbishop of Gulu .
Till now Rt. Rev. Raphael p’Mony Wokorach M.C.C.J (Combonian Missionary of the Heart of Jesus) has been bishop of Nebbi Catholic Diocese.
He replaces Archbishop John Baptist Odama, who has resigned after reaching the age limit in accordance with the Code of the Canon law.
Archbishop John Baptist Odama, is the first Metropolitan Archbishop of Gulu where he has served for 25 years (1999-2024).
