Akright City Marks Two Decades of Excellence in Uganda’s Real Estate Sector

There was a festive atmosphere at Akright City as the landmark residential development celebrated 20 years of excellence, marking two decades of creating modern communities and contributing to Uganda’s urban growth.

The celebrations began on a high note as Akright City Founder, Anatoli Kamugisha, warmly welcomed the Minister of Lands, Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Judith Nabakooba, who joined guests, homeowners, investors, and partners to commemorate the milestone.

For 20 years, Akright City has grown from a bold vision into one of Uganda’s well-known residential developments. Through carefully planned neighborhoods and a commitment to quality, it has provided homes for many families while helping shape the country’s evolving real estate sector.

Addressing attendees, Anatoli Kamugisha reflected on the journey that has brought Akright City to this milestone. He thanked homeowners, business partners, employees, and all those who have supported the development over the years, noting that their trust and commitment have been central to its success.

“This celebration is about more than marking 20 years,” he said. “It is about the people who believed in our vision and helped turn it into a thriving community.”

The presence of Hon. Judith Nabakooba highlighted the role that private real estate developers continue to play in supporting Uganda’s housing and urban development goals. Her attendance also underscored the value of partnerships between government and the private sector in promoting planned and sustainable urban growth.

As Akright City celebrates this important anniversary, the occasion offers an opportunity to reflect on two decades of progress while looking ahead to the future. With a continued focus on quality, innovation, and community development, the company aims to build on its legacy and contribute even more to Uganda’s growing urban landscape.

The #AkrightCity20Years celebrations are not only a recognition of past achievements but also a celebration of the people, partnerships, and shared vision that have shaped Akright City’s journey over the last two decades.
