Dr. Kizza Besigye: As government refused to release him on instructions of supreme court Judgement.
He has today appeared before the Buganda road Chief magistrates on other charges Lubega Mukaaku.
According to Besigye’s wife Winnie byanyima international media New release he is still on hunger strike in Luzira prison against the court martial detention.
however he has appeared in Buganda road court on introduction of the chief magistrates following the previous refusal letter of Besigye to appear before the Buganda road Chief magistrates with his inco-accused Lubega Mukaaku.
They have both appeared before Buganda Road Chief Magistrates Court on charges of inciting violence during a 2022 protest against the high cost of living in Kampala.
On of the senior Lawyer of Besigye Erias Lukwago told the media that the proceedings before the Buganda Road Magistrate’s Court today “render credence to Gen Muhoozi’s assertion that Dr. Besigye will only leave Luzira Prisons in a coffin!!!. But their nefarious schemes will definitely boomerang”. Lukwago said
