Buganda kingdom might be brought to Halt if some of the things are not checked out and some people replaced.
The problem that Buganda has is that it has brought its norms and handled them to politicians of which is very bad and this has made Buganda fail to achieve it’s initial set objectives and goals.
Very many people have been asking why the Kabaka is now dodging his katikiiro but it’s like he found out the truth and he is trying to bring Buganda up from where it was buried.
This is all brought a bout by the return of the Buganda’s constitution into the general constitution of Uganda – 1995.
According to prince Jjuko Joseph, the Kingship is existing but it was kidnapped and handed over to the big snake who have their personal benefits.
“These big snakes in the kingdom are using Baganda’s Ignorance to control them and push them against the wall”.Mr JjukoJoseph said.
The biggest Buganda’s kingdom problem is the acting Katikiiro Mr Charles Peter Mayiga.
This is because Mr Mayiga has his own intensions over Buganda of which are benefiting him as a person not the Kingdom.
Mayiga has not achieved anything that can be presented in case he is asked to do so because he is incompetent.
What Mr Mayiga has achieved is the misuse of the Buganda ‘s property and money by reading poorly the budget to the citizens because his budget doesn’t always contain specific budget actuals and goals. They are all all his personal thoughts and dealings.
The Kabaka has kept quite on what Mayiga and his group are doing to the kingdom which has seemingly given them the audacity of using the Kabakas name to steal from different organizations.
All this can be solved by separating Buganda as a region and Buganda as a Kingdom. Right now, Buganda’s culture is being controlled by the politicians. The separation will stabilize Buganda as a Kingdom.
Buganda should be accountable to the public but if they don’t cooperate, Buganda kingdom will lose direction.
On the other hand the kabaka should start putting his subjects first than the Mayiga’s and his group. This will make the Kabaka comfortably seat in his “Namulondo” because it’s the subjects that make and strengthen the Kingdom.
