Omuzaana Marion Nankya: The official Wife to Prince Wasajja

Rumors are swirling about Nnabagereka Sylvia Nagginda’s whereabouts after she skipped the Buganda Children’s Day festivities at Lubiri in Mengo on Wednesday.

In a surprising turn of events, the Nabagereka, who is deeply passionate about children’s and teenagers’ issues, did not attend the event, and Omuzaana Marion Nankya, wife of Prince David Wassajja, represented her instead.

According to insider sources, the Nnabagereka reportedly fell victim to food poisoning a few weeks ago. Sources close to the royal family reveal that she was discreetly flown to Nairobi Hospital for urgent medical attention.

During her brief stay, doctors performed a thorough medical procedure to flush out impurities from her digestive system, ensuring her full recovery.

Allegations suggest that the contaminated food was prepared by the royal in-house Kenyan chefs at the palace in Banda, Kireka. However, it’s claimed that the food may have been compromised during transportation from the palace to the Nnabagereka’s Bulange office.

Shortly after consuming the food, the Nabagereka allegedly began experiencing severe stomach irritation and upset, prompting her security detail and minders to swiftly investigate the food in question.

As the situation unfolded, medical professionals, including first aiders and doctors, attended to the Nnabagereka and strongly advised that she be airlifted to Nairobi for immediate medical attention. The urgency was compounded by the need to initiate the cleansing process within the critical 72-hour window.

Meanwhile, the Kabaka was promptly informed of the Nnabagereka’s alarming condition, which reportedly left him deeply distressed and concerned.

In shock and dismay over the sudden turn of events, the Kabaka promptly ordered the suspension of all kitchen staff and food handlers pending further investigation.

After receiving successful treatment, the Nnabagereka was reportedly advised by her doctors to undergo a period of complete rest and recuperation, allowing her body to fully recover from the effects of the food poisoning.

Her noticeable absence from today’s event lends credence to speculation surrounding the food poisoning incident and its lingering impact on her health.
