PLE RESULTS: COUNTING HOURS TO GET PLE RESULTS OUT.

A total of 749,347 pupils, who sat for Primary Leaving Examination(PLE) 2023 are hungrily waiting for their results of which are to be released today.

The PLE results, according to the Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB),will be released by the Minister of Education and Sports Mrs. Janet Kataha Museveni today at the State House Nakasero.

The Board led by the Executive Secretary Mr Dan Odong, Yesterday briefed Mrs Kataha a bout the pupils Performance.

A total of 247,728 pupils who sat for the exams between November 8th and 9th in 14,442 Examination Centres are from private schools while the rest are from Universal Primary Education(UPE) schools.

For the second consecutive year, girls are the majority mounting to 52% (391,558 pupils) of the Candidates who sat for the Exams while their male counter parts are 357,789(48%).

A total of 2436 Special Needs Education Learners and 79 in mates where 13 are female and 66 are male from the upper prison of Luzira also sat for the Exams.
