Sources say that the president, who understandably must be disappointed with his longtime ally Adolf mwesige’s failure to decisively stand up to rogue-minded actors at the legislature ,is already conducting clandestine consultations on the suitability of giving Rev Eriasafu Sserwadda’s daughter the lucrative position.
Being clerk to Parliament is a powerful position because whoever holds the position also serves as the Accounting officer with the last word on the Legislature’s budget which is approximately shs 1trn.
