Nabwire Rose Elected 28th Guild President of Makerere University Business School

Nabwire Rose has indeed been elected as the 28th Guild President of Makerere University Business School (MUBS). She secured a landslide victory with 2,255 votes, winning by over 1,000 votes.

Rose’s campaign focused on student empowerment, academic reforms, inclusivity, and better engagement between the student body and administration. Her independent candidacy proved to be a strategic advantage, allowing her to appeal to a broad spectrum of students without being tied to any political group.

The Faculty of Business Administration and Faculty of Commerce were her strongest support bases, delivering 636 and 450 votes, respectively. As Guild President, Nabwire will face pressing student issues, including academic resources and infrastructure improvements, better communication between students and administration, and welfare policies.
